Training Week 11

December 5th, 2017

I have been meaning to write this blog post for awhile now. But hey, life happens. I am 11.5 weeks out from my competition date today and could not be happier with my progress. The photos below speak for themselves. I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy. The hardest part is eating the same foods over and over and over again. Planning your meals, when you’re going to shop at the grocery store, when you’re going to cook and prep the food, when you’re going to weigh and pack the food, on top of that when you’re going to have time to eat  6 meals throughout the day. 

This is for sure one area I can say college basketball prepped me for, as far as time management and organization is concerned. What do they say? Failing to plan is planning to fail? Something like that! I have been completely in love with the workouts  and honestly the cardio as well, I just feel so damn good after a hard core sweat session. I believe I talked a little bit about my workouts in my last blog post, and they haven’t changed a whole lot!

I often get messages on Instagram about my Waist Trainer or just my competition prep in general. My waist trainer is from Squeeze me Skinny and its the shorter sport model. I wear it everyday while I do cardio and thats it. I was skeptical when I was first told to try it out but believe me there is no better way to help slim and shape your waist and give you that hourglass figure you want!

The supplements I take are from MYOBLOX. Love the taste of all of the products and they’re  the cleanest in the industry. I started looking at posing heels and swim suits, going to have to pick a color and company for that very soon! 

As of recent I’ve cut a lot more carbs out of my diet and man can I notice. Sometimes I wake up feeling depleted or out of energy. My body just has to get used to my new diet this week. At the end of the day if you can deal with a boring diet and force feeding yourself sometimes , you can prep for a competition too! Just remember this is not how it will always be. Your shape when you step on the stage lasts for a couple days max. You shouldn’t do it for the final stage look and how you end up placing. You should do It to create a healthier you and become confident in your own skin.
