This is my first time in Seattle! Myself and two girlfriends made the trip from San Jose to Seattle for the football game on Sunday. We got in early Saturday and explored downtown Seattle.
We stayed at The Embassy Suites Hilton Downtown Pioneer Square and it could not have been a more perfect location. Not only for walking around to cool shops and restaurants but we were also right across the street from Century Link field. The restaurant called 13 Coins is attached to the Embassy and we probably ate there three times it was so good. There is also a bus that runs throughout the day every 15 minutes it would stop outside the hotel and you could take it to Pike Place Market and the surrounding areas for free.
Grade A makeup lighting 😉
A must see on your list should be Pikes Place Market Seattles first and largest farmers market. There are flying fish! Walk through the market and listen for laugher and clapping as bystanders watch those working the fish stands throw the catch of the day around. If you make a purchase at these fish stands, one worker throws your pick across the shop to the other and he packages it up for you. But be careful, don’t stand right behind them in case it slips! I did and screamed as a fish flew by right in front of me, hopefully you’ll be a little more prepared than I was.
Iconic photo spot in any season 🙂
Winter coat – DKNY bought it at Wilsons Leather. couldn’t find the exact one but there’s a similar one from Calvin Klein. Tall ladies this one is extra long, goes to my calf and I’m 5’11!

Seattle’s Gum Wall in Post Alley under Pikes Place Market. Such a great (weird) photo opp. Try your absolute hardest to not touch any of the pieces of gum other than yours! So gross but where else would you ever do this again!? So just do it.
Be sure to bundle up! Seattle in December, especially near the water, can be a bit chilly.
Saturday night after exploring all day we stayed in, cozied up, poured a glass of wine and hung out in the hotel room. Some much needed R&R with my girls before game day!
Girls weekends are always a good idea.

The three of us bought these scarves from Express , traced our numbers onto them and used white fabric paint to color them in. Probably my favorite craft yet because they look awesome and were so easy to make!
Kenzie and I purchased these red unisex beanies from Amazon then added Swarovski crystals from Michaels to the stenciled numbers. A much cheaper option but extremely time consuming. The numbers we cut out from heat transfer vinyl and ironed them on.
Seattle you’ve gained a new fan in me and I can’t wait to close out the 2019 season at Century Link with a W! Go Niners!
