George made the trip to Dubuque this weekend to celebrate Easter with my family and I! It’s always great to get home for a quick weekend. Saturday night we spent our time visiting Park Farm Winery in Bankston, IA. I had never been there before and we love wine so it was time to get our butts there!
Park Farm is the most beautiful place to be in the Fall because it is raised up and overlooks farmland and a huge valley of trees. Just imagine this place as the trees are changing colors! Their woodfire pizza was to die for and they have a great wine tasting option for $5! Plus they give you your own Park Farm Winery wine glass to take home.
I found my dress at Nordstrom Rack in Des Moines. It’s honestly the most comfortable dress I have every worn and it was SO LONG!
Sunday we went to morning service at Hope Church which is my usual family church. During holiday services the church moves into the Grand River Center which overlooks the Mississippi River. After service ended we went upstairs to a beautiful Easter brunch. They had everything from mimosas to shrimp and lobster and a huge dessert table! This meal could quite possibly be one of my favorites every year! Of course we had to take photos out on the balcony overlooking the river. Needless to say it was a quick weekend well spent with loved ones.
